Watch out for cold shock response
Do not go into the water suddenly, especially after meals or after being in the sun for a long time.
Cold shock response is a shock condition produced by a sudden change in temperature experienced by the body when suddenly immersed in cold water
If you have just eaten, wait a couple of hours before you go in the water. If you notice that the water is very cold once you are in it and it is hard to breathe, you should get out immediately.
