If you go for a walk, protect yourself from the heat
If you go for a walk, avoid exposure to the sun during the hottest hours of the day, between 11 am and 5 pm.
Wear comfortable, loose-fitting, breathable clothing made of natural fabrics. Always protect your head from the sun with hats or caps. You can wear a wet bandanna around your neck to avoid sunstroke and heat stroke. Do not forget to use a sunscreen that is suitable for your skin and resistant to sweat.
Take liquids with you, preferably water or isotonic drinks: drink often even if you are not thirsty, to stay hydrated. In addition, take some fruit, such as bananas, or nuts to help you regain your strength.
